Carabosse
Comics is actively seeking submissions for future issues of the
gay comic anthology Queerbait! If you are interested in submitting
a story to Queerbait, please follow these guidelines:
Completed full-color stories only!
Stories
can be any length and can be in any genre, except adult, erotica
or pornography. Shorter stories may appear in full in one issue.
Longer stories may be serialized over several issues. All stories
must directly relate somehow to the LGBT community, whether it be
through plot, subject matter and related themes or the characters
themselves that appear in the story are lesbian, gay, bisexual,
transgendered or queer. Please keep in mind that Queerbait is intended
for most ages, so don't include something you may not see in a PG-13
movie. Adult language and tasteful nudity are acceptable when they
serve to make a better story.
Artists
who are interested in providing cover artwork should send illustration
samples along with their idea for a cover image if they have one.
Finished
artwork should be created for a full-color standard size American
comic book at 6.877" x 10.5". Digital files should be
no smaller than 300 dpi. To download a page template, click

Unfortunately,
we can not pay creators for their submissions at this time. However,
everyone involved will get a complimentary copy of the issue that
their work appears in as well as great exposure for your work. All
work and characters remain the property of the creator. Stories
should only feature original characters or characters that you currently
own the intellectual and property rights to. All submissions will
have to complete a contract before going to print.
If
you are still interested in submitting work at this time, send
in your submission!
You
will be contacted soon after your submission is received and if
your submission is accepted, you will receive a contract. Each creator
involved will need to sign the contract.
Never
send your originals as works will not be returned to you. Only send
copies of your work. Digital works on disc are also acceptable.
Carabosse Comics has the right to refuse any submission at its discretion.
This
submission request is for Queerbait only, as Carabosse Comics is
not currently looking to publish other works.
